Spring opening checklist for lakefront properties
As camps and seasonal homes reopen, this is a good time to inspect ditches, culverts,
bare soil, and any spots where runoff may be heading toward the pond. Small spring
fixes can prevent bigger summer problems.

Water Quality
Why shoreline buffers matter
Natural vegetation helps slow runoff, trap sediment, and support habitat. Even a
modest buffer can be a major improvement over bare or heavily managed shoreline.
Association Note
Looking ahead to this year's priorities
This season's focus includes clear communication, practical stewardship education, and
stronger participation from both year-round residents and seasonal camp owners.
